Our client, a 2bn USD multi-asset fund, is currently seeking a Global Semi / Hardware Tech Analyst to be part of their team based in Hong Kong.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth fundamental research to identify and evaluate public market investment opportunities, with a focus on global Semi / Hardware Tech.
- Stay abreast of important macro, government policy, and technology developments for investment implications on the global tech sector.
- Establish and maintain connections with companies, brokers, and industry experts within the Semi / Hardware Tech space.
Requirements:
- 5+ years experience in leading investment institutions, with at least 3 years of relevant coverage of global Semi / Hardware Tech sectors in the public market.
- At least 3 years of buy-side experience, with an existing network and relevant exposure to global markets.
- CFA or MBA preferred, but not required.
- Proficiency in Excel and financial modelling skills, with a preference for candidates who can adapt AI / GPT / Copilot to improve efficiency.
- Fluency in Mandarin considered an advantage, but not mandatory.
