Job Summary:
This role focuses on medical economics analysis to support operational and financial assessments. Collaborating with senior management and department heads, the analyst will evaluate financial performance, track medical cost trends, and identify key cost drivers. The position requires strong SQL skills to analyze large datasets and provide actionable insights to optimize business strategies and improve financial outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze medical claims, membership, and ADT data to identify trends and cost issues.
- Identify cost drivers and develop strategies to improve financial performance.
- Work with finance to set benchmarks and monitor medical cost fluctuations.
- Track and report on KPIs across different markets.
- Build relationships with market leaders to address medical cost concerns.
- Present data insights to inform decision-making and support special projects.
Skills & Abilities:
- Strong SQL skills to analyze large datasets and generate insights.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
