Are you an experienced fundraiser looking for an exciting opportunity to shape the growth of an emerging manager in the alternative investments space? We are a dynamic and entrepreneurial firm currently raising our third fund, targeting €1 billion. With €200 million already committed, we're building out our team to accelerate growth and secure substantial commitments from global institutional investors.
The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly motivated Directors of Fundraising to join our team, with positions based in London or Switzerland. In this role, you will be at the forefront of our capital-raising efforts, working with a fast-growing fund focused on illiquid alternative assets. You'll have the opportunity to build and expand a global investor base, work closely with senior leadership, and play a pivotal role in shaping the trajectory of our firm.
What You'll Do
- Develop and execute fundraising strategies to secure institutional capital from pension funds, family offices, insurance companies, endowments, sovereign wealth funds, and more.
- Leverage your existing network of trusted investors to cultivate relationships and secure institutional-sized commitments.
- Effectively communicate the fund's unique value proposition, telling a compelling story to attract investor interest.
- Navigate the challenges of raising capital for an emerging manager, bringing creativity, confidence, and persistence to the process.
- Represent the firm at industry events, investor meetings, and conferences, helping to build our reputation and brand.
- Work collaboratively with partners and senior leadership to align fundraising efforts with broader organisational goals.
What We're Looking For
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in fundraising or business development, with a focus on illiquid alternative assets, preferably real estate.
- A proven track record of raising capital for first-time or emerging funds, with success in closing large-scale institutional commitments.
- Confidence, drive, and a proactive mindset to independently lead fundraising efforts and deliver results.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
- Entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and evolving environment.
