Selby Jennings has partnered with a leading multi-billion USD single CIO hedge fund in Hong Kong. The firm is currently seeking an analyst with strong experience analyzing companies in the Global Software sector with an emphasis on the US and Greater China. This analyst will focus on identifying quality businesses using a fundamentally driven and deeply analytical approach.
Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed analysis of company reports and build complex financial models to generate investment recommendations
- Track and evaluate stock/fund performance
- Conduct company management meetings/roadshows/onsite visits and independently complete research reports
Requirements
- Education experience in both US and China considered a plus
- 1-5 years of experience within financial services (asset management, investment bank or private equity)
- Near native Mandarin and English (verbal and written) is required
- Academic excellence and intellectual curiosity is a must
- Strong analytical skills, knowledge of financial modeling and financial statements
- Ability to communicate effectively and express complex ideas succinctly
