Role Overview:
They are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Equity Research Analyst to join their Healthcare team, specializing in Therapeutics or Medical Technology (MedTech).
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive research on companies within the Therapeutics and/or MedTech sectors, covering areas such as biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, diagnostics, and medical devices.
- Analyze clinical data, regulatory developments, and competitive landscapes to assess investment potential.
- Build and maintain detailed financial models to evaluate company performance and valuation.
- Stay abreast of scientific advancements, healthcare trends, and market drivers to inform investment strategies.
- Present clear, actionable investment recommendations to portfolio managers and senior team members.
- Collaborate with other research analysts and investment professionals across teams.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Finance, or a related field; advanced degrees (PhD, MD, or MBA) or CFA designation preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in equity research, investment banking, management consulting, or a related field with a focus on Healthcare, Therapeutics, or MedTech.
- Strong understanding of healthcare markets, clinical trial processes, and regulatory frameworks.
- Exceptional analytical and financial modeling skills.
- Ability to synthesize complex information into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
