Job Title: Business Valuation Associate

Company Overview:
Our client is a leading middle-market investment bank offering valuation and advisory services in financial reporting, transactions, and litigation support. The firm is seeking a Valuation Associate to join the team and work on a variety of complex projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct business valuations for financial reporting, ESOP formation, and tax purposes.
- Perform complex security valuations, including embedded derivatives and earn-outs.
- Assist with purchase price allocations (PPAs), asset impairment, and stock-based compensation.
- Provide litigation support and prepare expert reports for legal cases.
- Collaborate with senior team members to deliver accurate, high-quality reports and financial models.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (Advanced degrees/CPA certification a plus).
- 1-3 years of experience in business valuation, financial analysis, or related field.
- Experience with financial reporting, ESOPs, complex securities, and litigation support a plus.
- Strong Excel and financial modeling skills.
- Excellent communication and analytical abilities.
