My client company is an alternative investment firm focused on real estate, they are currently looking for a Team Lead Risk Manager to join their team in Munich.
Main responsibilities:
Manage projects on new regulations and ensuring compliance with AIFMD, KAGB, MiFID, BaFin regulations, and accreditation standards.
Working with the Head of Risk and other relevant cross functional teams by providing expertise to identify and mitigate potential risks.
Create and implement controls and plans to mitigate identified risks, and reporting results to the board and senior management.
Your profile:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mathematics, Physiscs, Economics, Finance or similarly related fields.
Proven experience leading a team in risk management, particulary within AIFMD.
Prior experience in creating and implementing risk policies and frameworks.
Professional certifications in CRM, FRM, or CRISC.
Fluency in English (C1), German is a huge plus.
