Smidcap Investment Analyst (Software)
Are you passionate about fundamental analysis and eager to contribute to a dynamic investment team? We are seeking a talented individual to join our firm, established in 2009, which focuses on generating superior risk-adjusted returns by investing in U.S. listed stocks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct deep fundamental research on U.S. small to mid-cap stocks, with a focus on software, infrastructure, and cybersecurity.
- Diversify the portfolio across a broad spectrum of securities to minimize risk.
- Actively monitor client portfolios and adjust strategies as needed.
- Collaborate with a team to develop and implement investment strategies across three different funds: a Long/Short fund, a Long Only (Best Ideas) fund, and a New Issue fund
- Monitor changes in consensus earnings per share (EPS) estimates from major research firms.
- Focus on upward revisions (bullish signal) or downward revisions (bearish signal).
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of buy-side experience focused on software.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Experience in fundamental analysis and portfolio management.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
