Position Summary:
My client is seeking an experienced Senior Middle Market Technology Underwriter to join their growing team. In this role, you'll leverage your deep industry knowledge to evaluate, underwrite, and manage technology-focused insurance portfolios. You'll work closely with brokers and clients to provide customized solutions that mitigate risk and drive business success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Risk Assessment: Evaluate complex technology risks and develop comprehensive underwriting strategies for middle-market accounts.
- Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers and clients, offering expert advice and tailored solutions.
- Portfolio Management: Oversee and manage a diverse portfolio of technology accounts, ensuring profitability and alignment with company goals.
- Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with claims, actuarial, and product development teams to enhance our offerings and respond to emerging trends.
- Market Analysis: Stay abreast of industry developments, regulatory changes, and competitive landscapes to inform underwriting decisions.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of underwriting experience, with a focus on middle-market technology accounts.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of technology sectors, including software, hardware, and IT services.
- Analytical Skills: Proven ability to assess complex risks, analyze data, and make informed underwriting decisions.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management, or a related field. Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CPCU) are a plus.
