Title: Sr. Facilities Underwriting Manager
Location: Remote
Responsibilities:
- Underwrite P&C accounts for Healthcare facilities
- Ensure applications and financial requirements are in order to determine acceptability of risk
- Knowledge of pricing and rating methods as well as predictive modeling tools
- Oversee and create quotation proposals on submission and renewing accounts
- Manages portfolio to attain gross written premium, profitability, rate, retention, product mix, new business and portfolio management goals
- Gather and evaluate information in order to reach appropriate decisions on renewals and new business
- Process policy endorsements and policy issuance
- Assist with claims coverage verification's if needed
- Establish and maintains effective relationships and communications with brokers and agents
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years experience with hospital professional liability insurance required; GL experience preferred
- Strong understanding of underwriting processes, coverages, and tools
- Ability to work without autonomously, make independent decisions and meet deadlines
