We are looking for a Senior Business Development Manager for our client who is a global provider of online, international payment services.
You will be instrumental in expanding revenue streams by identifying and acquiring new leads within the Small to Mid-Size Business Segment.
Your role will involve solution-based sales, educating prospective clients about the firm's services and products. You will work closely with the sales and dealing teams to secure new clients and foster business relationships.
Job Responsibilities
- Conduct intelligent research to identify and prospect new leads and opportunities.
- Support the BDM, Accounts, and Dealing teams in building rapport with existing and potential clients and partners.
- Maintain robust pre-sales activities and adhere to internal sales processes.
- Present and explain the firm's value proposition, products, and services to prospective clients.
- Meet and exceed revenue targets.
- Collaborate with the broader team to stay updated on compliance, legal regulations, product advancements, and distribution channels.
- Contribute to and consult on long-term strategic sales direction.
- Manage data for new and prospective clients, tracking and recording activities.
- Support management and strategic initiatives to enable the Asia team to achieve market expansion and revenue targets.
Requirements
- Proven expertise in B2C and B2B sales, with at least 8 years of experience in selling financial services to SMEs/Corporates.
- In-depth knowledge of cross-border payment solutions involving FX, including FX spot, forward contracts, and hedging.
- A positive attitude, drive to succeed, and willingness to engage in hunting sales.
- Ability to identify customer needs and align them with the firm's solutions.
- Proficiency in handling challenging customer interactions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Team-oriented, self-motivated, and capable of working independently.
- Fluency in English, with proficiency in Mandarin considered an advantage.
