Position Overview:
As a Principal you will play a pivotal role in the execution of investment strategies and the management of portfolio companies. We are looking for a talented and results-driven individual who can leverage their expertise in private equity/Investment banking, strategic thinking, and leadership skills to help us identify, assess, and execute investment opportunities while contributing to the growth and success of our portfolio companies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deal Sourcing: Identify and evaluate potential investment opportunities by conducting comprehensive market research and due diligence.
- Due Diligence: Lead due diligence efforts for prospective investments, including financial analysis, risk assessment, and operational diligence.
- Investment Execution: Collaborate with the team to structure and negotiate investment transactions, manage legal documentation, and secure financing as required.
- Portfolio Management: Work closely with portfolio company management teams to implement value creation strategies, monitor performance, and provide guidance and support as necessary.
- Exit Strategies: Develop and execute exit strategies for portfolio investments, including IPOs, trade sales, or other monetization options.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and innovation
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
Minimum of 6 years of experience in private equity, investment banking, or a related field.
Proven track record of sourcing, executing, and managing successful private equity investments.
Strong financial modelling and analytical skills.
