Operations Analyst | Fast-Growing Cross-Asset Hedge Fund
Job Overview: A leading financial services firm is looking for an Operations Analyst with experience in middle and/or back-office operations in trading or financial services. This role involves supporting the daily operations of the trading desk and ensuring operational excellence. The position is fast-paced, requiring innovation, flexibility, and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct trade reconciliations, settlements, and other operational tasks to ensure timely and accurate processing.
- Use internal systems and online platforms to manage operational workflows effectively.
- Maintain client and system databases.
- Manage the operational due diligence process.
- Assist with various account openings.
- Work with the team on daily operational tasks and workflow improvements.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and accuracy.
- Escalate issues promptly and help establish best practices.
Requirements:
- Degree in Finance, Mathematics, Sciences, or a related discipline; highly motivated and driven graduates are encouraged to apply.
- 1-5 years of experience in operational or trade processing within the financial industry or financial services.
- Knowledge of financial instruments, including cryptocurrencies and traditional finance, is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially MS Excel.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on risk mitigation.
- Excellent communication skills, a team player, and a positive, can-do attitude.
- Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Chinese.
