A start-up quant asset manager is seeking a Head of Business Development/CMO to lead fundraising efforts.
Responsibilities:
- Grow the firm's assets by identifying and closing fundraising opportunities
- Identify and cultivate new relationships with potential institutional investors, consultants, and asset allocators
- Implement strategic BD plans to achieve sales targets and revenue goals
- Will work with the investment team to put together investment solutions to present their strategy to investors
- Will attend industry conferences, events, and client meetings on behalf of the firm to promote the firm's offerings
Qualifications:
- Quant asset management experience or hedge fund experience (long only equity or long/short) required
- Start-up experience required
