Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Investment Banking Associate to join our client's team in Boston. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the life sciences, coupled with investment banking experience or a related background. This role requires exceptional financial modeling, valuation, and accounting skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed financial modeling and valuation analyses for clients in the life sciences sector.
- Assist in the preparation of pitch books, presentations, and other marketing materials.
- Perform due diligence and industry research to support transaction execution.
- Collaborate with senior bankers to develop and execute strategic advisory and financing transactions.
- Prepare and review transaction documents, including offering memoranda, management presentations, and fairness opinions.
- Maintain and develop client relationships through effective communication and project management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Life Sciences, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-4 years of investment banking experience or a related background.
- Strong understanding of the life sciences industry, including biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, and medical devices.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and accounting principles.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Located in or willing to relocate to Boston, MA.
