This client is a specialty full service investment bank providing services to entrepreneurs, family-owned companies, sponsors and major corporations. They are looking for an analyst that has at least one year of experience to join their special situations team, where they will join a team with deep industry experience and over three decades of experience.
Responsibilities:
- Organizing, reviewing, and analyzing due diligence processes and materials
- Developing valuation analyses and models
- Preparing comprehensive pitch-books, information memoranda, management presentations and marketing materials
- Contributing to key steps in the financing, sale, or restructuring execution process
- Supporting senior bankers in establishing relationships and maintaining direct contact with current and perspective clients
- Interacting with senior bankers to help build the firm
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1-2 years of full-time experience in special situations advisory investment banking and capital markets
- Advanced excel modeling skills
- Familiarity with the out-of-court restructuring and bankruptcy reorganization processes
- Outstanding academic credentials from from a top tier school
- Demonstrated critical thinking, process oriented, and strong attention to details
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Self-starter willing to work in an entrepreneurial , demanding, and fast-paced environment
