Event-Driven Investment Analyst
About the Role: This position presents a significant opportunity for a member of the investment team specializing in event-driven situations across Asia. The role allows for the expansion of the investment portfolio and universe based on proven performance. Risk thresholds will be tailored to the candidate's experience, offering the chance to pitch ideas that could substantially influence the central book.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement investment strategies focused on event-driven opportunities in Asia.
- Enhance the investment portfolio by identifying and pursuing new opportunities based on performance metrics.
- Collaborate with team members to assess and refine investment ideas relevant to Asian markets.
- Manage risk in line with established thresholds, customized to the candidate's experience level.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in the finance sector, preferably on the buy side with a focus on Asia event-driven investing (equity and/or credit).
- Strong track record or shadow track record being advantageous.
- Pan-Asia Market experience is a plus.
- A strong team player with effective collaboration skills.
- Experience in a mature continuous development process is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills are essential.
