Our client, a private bank is looking to add an insurance focused wealth planner to join their team in either Singapore or Hong Kong.
Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive financial plans for high-net-worth private banking clients, with a focus on insurance and risk management strategies
- Analyze clients' current insurance coverage, risk tolerance, and long-term financial goals to recommend appropriate life, health, and general insurance products
- Work closely with clients to understand their unique needs and priorities, and tailor insurance and investment solutions accordingly
- Educate clients on the benefits and features of various insurance products, including whole life, universal life, term life, critical illness, and disability insurance
- Collaborate with the bank's insurance partners to source competitive insurance policies and packages for clients
- Monitor clients' insurance and investment portfolios, and proactively suggest adjustments to ensure alignment with their evolving financial objectives
- Maintain strong relationships with clients through regular reviews and responsive service
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the bank's insurance-related wealth management strategies
- Comply with all relevant regulations, internal policies, and industry best practices
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in finance, economics, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the financial services industry, with a strong focus on insurance and wealth planning
- Certified Financial Planner (CFP) or Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) certification preferred
- Thorough understanding of insurance products, including life, health, and general insurance
- Proven track record of providing comprehensive financial planning and investment advisory services to high-net-worth clients
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts in a clear and engaging manner
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and provide tailored solutions
- Fluency in English and Mandarin Chinese (or other relevant languages) is highly desirable
