An elite High frequency trading firm is seeking an HPC Systems Engineer to design, optimise, and maintain their cutting-edge computational infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and manage HPC systems to support trading workloads and analytics.
- Optimise performance for large-scale, low-latency computing environments.
- Develop automation and monitoring tools using Python.
- Collaborate with trading, software, and network teams to enhance system efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in HPC clusters and related systems.
Qualifications:
- Extensive expertise in HPC systems design, implementation, and performance tuning.
- Strong experience with Linux, distributed computing, and job scheduling systems (e.g., Slurm, PBS).
- Proficiency in Python for development and automation.
- Familiarity with high-speed storage, interconnects (e.g., InfiniBand), and large-scale parallel file systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
