Our client, a growing boutique investment bank based in New York City, is seeking a Director of Healthcare Investment Banking to join their dynamic team.
As a Director, you will be at the forefront of the firm's strategic healthcare investment banking initiatives, leading the execution of complex equity capital market transactions while managing and expanding client relationships across the healthcare sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute healthcare equity capital market transactions, including IPOs, follow-ons, and private placements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare clients, providing strategic advice on capital raising and market positioning.
- Oversee the preparation of pitch materials, financial models, and due diligence processes.
- Work closely with senior leadership and other teams to develop and execute business development strategies within the healthcare vertical.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to junior bankers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Drive growth in the healthcare ECM practice and contribute to the firm's broader goals.
Key Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in healthcare-focused equity capital markets or investment banking, with a proven track record of leading successful ECM transactions.
- Strong understanding of the healthcare sector, including biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, medtech, and healthcare services.
- Expertise in financial modeling, valuation, and transaction execution.
- Excellent client management skills and a strong network in the healthcare investment community.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities, with experience managing and mentoring teams.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
