Responsibilities
- Proposal Review: Conduct thorough peer reviews of proposals for accuracy and suitability before submission to executive leadership and Sales
- Workflow Management: Efficiently manage the flow of proposals between Sales and Underwriting to ensure timely delivery
- Guideline Enhancement: Collaborate with leadership to refine underwriting guidelines, adapting them to support Company's growth.
- Rate Calculation: Calculate rates for complex group cases based on analysis of factors like group experience, industry, and location.
- Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior underwriting team members.
- Pricing Strategy: Work with Sales to develop effective pricing strategies in line with growth and profitability goals.
- Stakeholder Relations: Foster strong relationships and communication with internal and external stakeholders.
