Desktop Support Engineer
Introduction
Our client is a Financial Technology company based in Boston, MA, seeking a Desktop Support Engineer to join their Technology Team. This position requires a candidate with 5+ years of experience as a desktop or IT specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to the firm's employees, troubleshooting technical issues and installing software.
Responsibilities
The Desktop Support Engineer will be responsible for:
- Providing technical support to the firm's employees
- Troubleshooting technical issues in a timely manner
- Installing software and configuring hardware
- Setting up and maintaining user accounts
- Monitoring system performance and ensuring system stability
- Maintaining an inventory of hardware and software
- Providing training to users on new software
Qualifications
The successful candidate will have:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or a related field
- 5+ years of experience as a desktop or IT specialist
- Experience with Office 365, Windows OS Support, Active Directory, Citrix or Azure
- Excellent communication skills
