My client is looking for a Database Developer focused in Hadoop, please find the details below.
Tasks:
Join the team responsible for managing and advising on our company's Hadoop system for internal users. You'll help develop the strategy and implement it with the team. Your tasks include coordinating operations, communicating with users and managers, and providing updates on platform issues. You'll also handle releases and patches, assist with administrative tasks like license management and budget planning, and prioritize security measures. Your expertise will be crucial for projects related to platform operation, security, and testing.
Profile:
- You impress with a completed university degree (Bachelor) in (business) computer science or you have a comparable qualification.
- With several years of relevant professional experience, you bring extensive knowledge of IT processes, e.g. B. ITIL, ideally in a regulated environment (banks, insurance companies, etc.).
- In application operation, you will score points with experience in dealing with the basic technologies used in Hadoop, Linux, client/server architectures . You don't necessarily have to be in the admin role.
- Knowledge of application development and experience in project management are an advantage.
- And because we are traveling internationally, you should also be able to communicate well in English .
