My client is a dynamic and innovative private security and protection company located in the DMV area, and is seeking a motivated and analytical individual to join the Corporate Strategy team as an Analyst/Associate. As an integral member of the Corporate Strategy division, you will play a vital role in conducting market research, analyzing industry trends, and developing actionable insights to support growth and competitive positioning.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Corporate Strategy team to conduct in-depth research and analysis of industry trends, market dynamics, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities.
- Evaluate potential strategic initiatives, including partnerships, acquisitions, product expansions, and market entries, to provide informed recommendations to senior leadership.
- Monitor and assess market developments, technological advancements, regulatory changes, and consumer behaviors that impact the industry.
- Synthesize findings into actionable insights and reports to guide strategic decision-making.
- Build and maintain financial models to evaluate the financial impact of various strategic initiatives and scenarios.
- Perform quantitative analysis, including revenue projections, cost-benefit analysis, and ROI assessments, to support strategic recommendations.
- Partner with internal stakeholders across departments, including Marketing, Finance, Operations, and R&D, to gather insights and ensure alignment of strategic goals.
- Assist in the development and presentation of strategic plans to senior leadership and other relevant stakeholders.
- Conduct competitive analysis to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats of competitors.
- Provide insights on competitive positioning and recommend strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
- Contribute to ad-hoc projects related to corporate strategy, business development, and operational efficiency.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related field. Advanced degree (e.g., MBA) is a plus.
- For Analyst role: 1-3 years of experience in strategy consulting, investment banking, or a related analytical role. For Associate role: 3-5 years of relevant experience.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather, analyze, and synthesize complex data into actionable recommendations.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis tools, and MS Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings and recommendations clearly and effectively.
- Strategic mindset with a knack for identifying trends, opportunities, and challenges in the industry.
