A Credit focused fund managing ~$15bn in assets is looking to bring on a CLO Trading/Structuring Associate to generate investment ideas and structure/execute trades across the capital structure.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze prospective primary and secondary CLO investment opportunities
- Formulate and execute investment and trading recommendations for the various funds and SMA's
- Conduct CLO collateral manager due diligence with an emphasis on understanding the investment process and performance
- Manage relationships with dealers, collateral managers, and service providers
- Liaise with client solutions and investor relations to prepare marketing materials
- Work with the analytics and internal teams to track and maintain secondary BWICs, offer sheets, and out-of-comp trading activity and market color
- Monitor existing CLO positions
- Participate in Investment Committee meetings
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience
- Understanding of CLO structures and documents
- Experience working with Intex and modeling CLO cash flows in Excel
- Experience in trading CLOs
