Selby Jennings is partnered with a well-known middle market bank seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Analyst or Associate to join our Consumer Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) team. This bank works on wide range of Consumer Investment Banking, and is comprised of sharp individuals on a high performing team.
This role offers the opportunity to work on high-profile transactions in the consumer sector, providing strategic advisory services to middle-market clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed financial analysis and valuation of potential M&A targets.
- Prepare and present comprehensive financial models, pitch books, and transaction materials.
- Perform industry and market research to support transaction strategies.
- Assist in the execution of M&A transactions, including due diligence, negotiations, and closing processes.
- Collaborate with senior bankers and clients to develop and execute strategic initiatives.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and regulatory changes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; MBA or CFA preferred.
- 2-5 years of experience in investment banking, with a focus on M&A in the consumer sector.
- Strong financial modeling, analytical, and valuation skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- High level of attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
