We are partnered with a Leading Global Payments Provider that is seeking a Business Partnerships Manager to expand their business across LatAm, specifically in the import/export industry. This role involves developing long-term business relationships with strategic partners in the LatAm import/export ecosystem, including marketplaces, logistics, marketing services, and financial/payment services. The ideal candidate should have strong business skills, local market knowledge, and the ability to engage with C-level executives. Strategic thinking and a vision for the global digital payment market are essential.
Responsibilities:
- Identify, prospect, develop, and close key partnerships and merchant accounts across LatAm.
- Manage the entire sales process and acquire new key accounts to drive revenue.
- Seek business opportunities with selected partners and create comprehensive business collaboration proposals.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs. Represent the company at industry events.
- Collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams to meet customer expectations.
- Build effective working relationships with supporting departments, including technical and product teams.
- Network and consult with prospective clients, managing relationships with C-level executives and key decision-makers.
- Manage the sales pipeline using Salesforce and provide accurate forecasting.
- Negotiate client terms while aligning with internal resources.
- Work with the Merchant Service team to ensure quick and excellent client on boarding.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Spanish
- Strong networking skills with an active C-level network in the international trade sector
- 7+ years of sales experience in finance/technology, preferably in payments/virtual accounts/FX.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and new business development.
- Strategic thinker with innovative approaches to target markets and verticals.
- Knowledge of consultative/solution sales processes, including the "Challenger" approach.
- Experience in independently identifying, negotiating, and closing high-revenue strategic deals.
- Strong experience in developing and maintaining long-term global client relationships.
