**Account Manager - Accountant (m/f/d)**
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled individual for the position of an Account Manager specialized in Accounting. This is a permanent role designed for someone who thrives on being at the heart of business operations, acting as an essential bridge between clients, third-party service providers, and senior management.
Your Responsibilities:
* Organizing, supervising and monitoring the general accounting and bookkeeping activities according to German GAAP, (inter)national and industry specific accounting requirements;
* Organizing, supervising and monitoring the preparation of annual, quarterly or monthly management or investor reports for client companies, including balance sheets, P&L or other financial KPI reports;
* Leading a team of accountants;
* Pro-actively supporting the directors of the German clients with regards to the accounting results;
* Taking over the role of point of contact towards the tax adviser, the auditor or legal advisers of the served companies;
* Maintaining a network of internationally established clients;
* Assist clients in audit planning & management;
* Advise senior management on development in the German market, in preparing offers and participate in pitches;
Your Profile:
A German degree in accounting discipline and at least 5 years' experience in an accounting position, ideally with an international organization or
corporate service provider;
* A strong analytical mind-set and the ability to deliver high quality service;
* Knowledge of preparation of financial statements based on German GAAP; Basic knowledge of German tax laws, IFRS or any other GAAP would be considered as advantage;
* Meticulous, proactive and attentive to details;
* The ability to manage a team remotely;
* You bring along a commercial mindset which enables you to create and sell the company's services to the client;
* You are a team player with excellent communication skills and ability to work autonomously;
* You are fluent German and good command of both written and spoken English (B1 or higher);
